They can vacuum a floor, that’s no longer the interesting question with robot vacuum cleaners. The Roborock Saros 10R and Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 are two devices that do this very well. What happens once you’ve stopped viewing them as gadgets and they’ve become akin to regular household appliances. They need to be able to

Roborock has reached the point where its flagship robot vacuums are less like traditional vacuum cleaners and more like autonomous floor-maintenance systems. The Saros 10R was already an ambitious machine: unusually thin, packed with 3D sensing, capable of vacuuming and mopping, and paired with a dock that could empty its dustbin, wash its mop pads

The Roborock Saros 10R makes you rethink what a robot vacuum should be. For years, robot vacuums have been great at taking over a tedious job: running a vacuum around the house when you don’t feel like it. The trade-off was that you usually had to accept compromises.
